Taihape Train Control panel. This panel managed trains from Martin to Waioru. Commissioned in June 1963.

Test panel for the signals control equipment. Used for maintenance and repairs, originally installed at Taihape.
Control rods for signals and points.
A much more recent panel installed at National Park in the late 1970’s to handle the much increased train movements required by the development of the nearby Tongariro Power Scheme.
Three-aspect signals:
- Green – Track clear
- Yellow – Caution, next signal is at stop
- Red - Stop
