This is a smallish museum but holds a lot of interesting items. I was very impressed with the very informative volunteers. It's well worth a look even if your not interested in trains I managed to learn a few things about New Zealands Tangiwhai disaster that I didn't know. This museum is run on donations and they do a wonderful job.

Ian (and Helen from the art gallery nextdoor) were welcoming and entertaining. It's worth visiting just to talk to Ian and Helen.
